Since the release of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars in 1996, Nintendo fans have been craving another dosage of RPG action from Square. But since 1996, after a heated argument, Square left Nintendo, seemingly forever. But now, in 2002, that’s all changed: Square is once again making games for Nintendo. And their first title is none other than the Playstation One hit, Final Fantasy Tactics. Originally thought of as a remake of the PSone title, the GBA version will instead feature a whole different story – which is, as usual, very interesting. A boy named Myu runs across a book, somewhat obviously titled Final Fantasy. When he tries to channel the power of the book, it magically turns his world into a fantasy realm. He's actually in the world of Final Fantasy! Along with his friend Mash, and a girl named Ritz, (Not the cracker, sillies) Myu sets off into the world of Final Fantasy to try to restore their planet to its old state.

Uh...I DIDNT DO IT! |
Of course, every Tactics game has to have an amazingly good Job system. FFT:A is no exception. The game has five different character classes to choose from: White Mage, Black Mage, Archer, Knight and Monk. Those five are divided by 3 character systems. The Judgement System allows you to set the order of actions while you’re in a battle. The Kuran System is exclusive to Myu and Mash. In this system, you have to follow orders from a client. Last, but not least, the Region System will help you to rebuild the world. (Uh, ok.) While there certainly isn’t enough information about Final Fantasy Tatics Advance, it does seem to be a very interesting title. While a US date is not announced, you can go to your local import store and pick it up this winter. Final Fantasy is about to make a comeback to Nintendo, folks. Can you handle it?
